Stories of the Heart
GRATITUDE
I was thinking about why I do the cooking classes, why teaching is so important to me.
How can one be a good teacher if one doesn’t at least answer that?
What is cooking for me?
Just enjoyment? Nourishment, wellness? All that and more? Undoubtedly more than all of these things together.
Caring, sharing, love, knowledge, joy, and of course all those wonderful ingredients that we pass by at every step.
These humble beings that the earth generously provides us. Those bothersome weeds that, along with everything we grow and nourish, give us the daily blessing of food.
Gratitude, then, to all of those that offer themselves to us every day.
That’s where cooking starts for me.
Every dish is a prayer and an attempt to change the eating habits that take us away from balance and health. It’s a respect for the intangible “body” of food.
My “students” don’t need recipes. They need inspiration and knowledge sharing to transform what no longer serves them. In body and in spirit. At the same time, they help me transform through the act of teaching.
So I do feel the need to deeply thank everyone who has been walking this path of change with me for years. I thank you, just as I thank the spirits of all the vegetables and animals, for their daily offer to nourish us and keep us alive and healthy.
MANY & ONE
When people ask me what I do, what my job is, I ask myself.
I sign up in various capacities. Cook, physical and mental wellness consultant, 4D Dream Coach, energy healer using herbs and nutrition.
Some friends say, “These are too ‘many’, it’s confusing.” So they make me think. Is it so after all? Or are all of these “many” just one? That ONE that puts people at the center and is interested in their happiness, development, and health?
I may be using different tools, as I see them, to relate to a person and join with him or her in their quest for wholeness, expansion, and connection to their inner Light and the Cosmos.
The names may be many, but the work is one. Whether I’m cooking or serving as a counselor, messenger, or healer, my role remains the same. And the truth is, I eventually came to like the answer I gave myself.
Therefore, I choose the “many” in order to serve the “ONE”.
And I thank you all for walking with me along this path. Walking together is precious because when one of us “falls,” there is always a tender hand there to pick us up.
